About Drew Weir
Drew Weir has been recording, mixing, and creating world-class sound design for more than 14 years – first at Chiat/Day in New York, then at Nu World Editorial and Red Car Chicago. Weir is the recipient of a New York Art Director’s Club Award for a network-wide ABC branding campaign, and Telly Awards for Sound Design: Feature Film and Sound Design: Commercial. Weir has been composing, mixing and producing music for more than 20 years and is active in the Chicago music scene as a producer and musician.
About Risé Sanders
For more than a dozen years Risé Sanders has been producing and directing work from Chicago. She’s done documentary work for A&E, TLC, The History Channel, WTTW, National Geographic, and MSNBC. She’s been nominated for an Emmy Award and an NAACP Image Award. Sanders is a founding board member of Women in Film/Chicago, having previously served as its Mentorship Chair; she is presently the non-profit organization's Focus Awards Chair.
